Annual Pig Roast Fundraiser

Generally, the event is held on the first Saturday in June (first Sunday in the event of inclement weather) and hosted by The Pomares Family at their Double 9 Garage. It was recently renovated to a late Victorian Carriage House appearance on the outside, with a fully functioning storage and shop on the inside for the family's collection of cars. We are located in the heart of Bloomfield’s beautiful historic district. This year's event will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 3-8PM.

Every year we focus on a special theme and this year it's Route 66 in honor of the famed route's 100 birthday. Incidentally, Team Bloomfield Cruisers will be on Route 66 this summer as part of the 2026 Great Race, Springfield, IL to Pasadena, CA!   The Team will also compete at the Northeast Rally Club's Pumpkin Run (Delaware) and The Race of Gentlemen aka TROG (Wildwood, NJ)!  

Team Bloomfield Cruisers welcomes two new additions to the team: car 47A and 47c, a 1931 and 1930 Ford Model As hot rods, a great addition to the 47b car. Old reliable, Great Race Car 145 will join these cars on the eve of the Great Race. 

You should expect lots of people having a good time! A traditional Cuban-style pig roast will be in full-effect, as well as gearhead-style grilling on our V8 BBQ Grill.  We will also have door prizes, music, garage tours, classic cars, trivia, great people – and a bunch of surprises, what more can you ask?
