About Santa's Parade of Classic Cars
Santa Claus is Coming to Bloomfield!
Established in 2020 and now held annually on the first Saturday in December, the Santa Parade of Classic Cars became an instant hit! Thanks to our connections with jolly St. Nick and our friends at the Bloomfield Police Department, Santa Claus will visit Bloomfield on Saturday, December 7, 2024 (rain date is Sunday, December 8). Along with the Bloomfield Cruisers, Santa will cruise an 18-mile journey through Bloomfield - guaranteed to bring a little holiday cheer to everyone. We leave the parking lot at Universal Technical Institute, 1515 Broad St., AT 10 AM SHARP and travel all the way down to the south end of town and back. Listen for the police sirens and holiday music! (Thank you, Bloomfield PD, for giving us a hand!)
How you can follow Santa's Parade
Our parade route is posted below and on our social media outlets by mid-November. It is broken down to 6 legs so be sure to find a spot along the route! On the day of the Parade, follow the Bloomfield Cruisers Facebook page as we will have a live feed during the parade beginning about 10:00AM. There will also be a link that you can click and refresh to see where Santa is along the parade route in real-time so you don't miss anything!
You can register to be in the parade with your old or new car if you have been a good boy or girl, here's how and what we expect:
There are limited spots available in parade. We allow classic cars as well as newer cars as long as they are adorned in holiday decoration. Parade Car Registration ends by November 30 or if we fill to capacity - whichever comes first. The parade is 2 hours long, so your car needs to be able to handle that. In addition, bring enough candy to dispense along the route. We ask all cars to have a fire extinguisher on board. To register, email us at bloomfieldcruisers@gmail.com
