What are Hot August Nights Car Shows...
Cruise nights social gatherings of collector car owners and spectators held on weekday evenings during the warmer seasons. The general public is invited to view the cool rides and take pictures (but please do not touch unless invited to do so). Although some cruise nights offer a few trophies, generally cruise nights aren't regarded as an intense competition, just a relaxed evening to share our pride and joy. Fully judged car shows generally take place on weekend days and have more complex judging criteria.
Hot August Nights Car Shows at Universal Technical Institute
In August, the Bloomfield Cruisers collaborate with Bloomfield's Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs, Universal Technical Institute and Shelbourne Properties for a month-long series of cruise nights - Hot August Nights! This series is held every Wednesday from 6PM - 9PM and welcomes all kinds of rides. Hot Summer Nights is located inside UTI's campus parking lot at 1515 Broad Street, Bloomfield, NJ.
Every Weeks Features a different theme
Each of these event nights features a ton of cars, a few trophies selected by event organizers, a food truck or two, and restrooms. On select days, we offer tours of UTI's training facilities, music by a live concert and/or a DJ, a drive-in movie night, and other special features.
