The Bloomfield Cruisers contributes to our community by offering free public events and direct support of charitable organizations and efforts. We raise funds through your support of us as members, your swag purchases, and outright donations. Here's a sample of what we do:

We offer free cruise nights and related entertainment in
partnership with other organizations for the public to enjoy. Some featured cruise night events include drive-in movie night, First Responders Night, and live bands just to name a few. Cruise Nights usually feature about 100+ classic cars for all to enjoy.

A family Outing
Our Santa's Parade of Classic Cars became an instant hit with the public. Each year, Santa relies on us to help bring cheer to kids and adults alike. Thanks to Bloomfield Police Department, we do a 2+ hour parade throughout Bloomfield. The parade is accompanied by an annual toy drive where the generosity of club members, friends, local businesses, and members of the public contribute.

Our award helps a Bloomfield High School senior on their way to Universal Technical Institute (UTI) where they learn to become automotive technicians, diesel mechanics, welders or HVAC techs. In 2018, the Bloomfield Cruisers launched an annual scholarship to help students. Our award helps a Bloomfield High School senior on their way to Universal Technical Institute (UTI) where they learn to become automotive technicians, diesel mechanics, welders or HVAC techs. It's our small contribution to helping students, our UTI campus, and the trades. We also sponsor a Bloomfield Little League Team and give away gently used bicycles.

We know how to throw a good party - especially ones with a great purpose. Events, such our annual pig roast, help us raise funds for our charitable efforts. Because all of the event expenses are donated, every penny that comes in through donations goes back to our charities. We also help organize adult pine wood derbies, host a Christmas party toy drive, and more.

The Bloomfield Cruisers awarded the first annual scholarship to Andrew Salinas, a 2018 graduate of Bloomfield High School. Andrew began his educational training at the brand new Universal Technical Institute in Bloomfield. The announcement was made during the ribbon cutting ceremony at the new campus.

Jessie Velez was awarded the 2019 Bloomfield Cruiser Scholarship. He shared how excited he was to work on his 2004 Ford Mustang and aspires to work for Ford or perhaps even have his own shop one day, working on muscle cars. Willy Ventura was awarded the 2020 Bloomfield Cruisers scholarship award to Universal Technical Institute. Willie concentrated on becoming a diesel technician.

In addition to the award, she received a set of tools toward her education at Universal Technical Institute where she will study to be a automotive technician. We were very impressed with her application where she expressed her profound love for the automotive culture and aspiration to own her own shop. She also referenced how she expects to prove that a woman can make it in a field historically dominated by men. We believe she is correct and hope to be there for years to cheer her on.

Leo Vasilenko was awarded the 2025 Bloomfield Cruisers Scholarship. He will learn to be an automotive technician. He hopes to include diesel and enhanced performance in his portfolio as well. We learned that since he was a little boy, he has been attending our cruise nights and parades. We are very proud of him and hope he achieves all of his goals, and then some.
