Wednesday Cruise Nights: June, July & August
What are Cruise Nights...
Simply put - Cruise Nights are generally social gatherings of classic and collector car owners held on weekday evenings during the warmer seasons. The general public are invited to view the cool rides. Although some cruise nights offer a few trophies, generally Cruise Nights aren't regarded as an intense competition, just a relaxed evening to share our pride and joy. Fully judged car shows generally take place on weekend days and have more complex judging criteria.
June & July Cruise Nights are held at Bloomfield Center
Collector car owners and car fans are invited to join the Bloomfield Cruisers Car Club as we attend the Bloomfield Center Alliance’s (BCA) weekly Cruise Night beginning every Wednesday, June 5 - Wednesday, July 31 (please note no event on June 19 and July 3) beginning at 6PM - 8:30PM. Classic cars must enter at Broad Street & Franklin or Broad Street/Bloomfield Ave. While there, we encourage you to patronize Bloomfield’s area businesses (Afterall, that's mainly why the BCA offers this series)! No pre-registration required to enter your car or to attend the Cruise Night, (Car owners - please do not show up earlier than at 5:45PM). The fun continues in August - see the next text box!
August Cruise Nights are held at Universal Technical Institute, 1515 Broad Street, Bloomfield
In August, the show moves to Universal Technical Institute (UTI) - we call this month-long series of Cruise Nights - Hot Summer Nights! Held every Wednesday from 6PM - 9PM, this series is organized by the Bloomfield Township's Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs Department in partnership with the Bloomfield Cruisers, UTI and Shelbourne Properties. Unlike the BCA shows which are held on closed street, Hot Summer Nights is located inside UTI's campus parking lot and features food trucks, tours of UTI's training facilities, live concert, a drive-in movie night, and other special features.
